What is Flow in a Hospital?

Patient flow is the movement of patients through a healthcare facility. It involves the medical care, physical resources, and internal systems needed to get patients from the point of admission to the point of discharge while maintaining quality and patient/provider satisfaction.

The Flow projects help to remove blockages for patients being discharged from hospital beds (freeing up beds and staff time/resources). The FLOW projects also improve clinical operations by  saving clinicians time, and increasing efficiency/value for money.

Design Team Flow

Design Team Flow works with clinicians who deal with Inpatients on the wards (Mental hospital), Acute care Psyche Liaison (A & E), Home Treatment Teams and Community Mental Health teams (when patient have been discharged home or to accommodation).
